蘇民祭/Hardcore Photography in Tohoku













I have been to Mizusawa in Iwate, in order to see a very old and unique festival "Somin-Sai(蘇民祭)". It was a mind-blowing experience. Naked men run riot in the cold(-10℃!) from 10PM to 6AM. The festival was incredibly intense and people got extremely high. I was absorbed in my shooting. After the festival finished, I have noticed that one nail has separated from my finger.
